How We Work

Through experience, we have learned that it is best to have a set of processes in place, to ensure nothing is missed when creating your new website. Here's how we do it.

Research.

We’ll need to know a bit of background about your business and how this will refelct in your website project – that way we can work out exactly what it is you’re trying to achieve.

We’ll ask lots of questions, and then some more. It’s important to us that we help you achieve your business goals, so it’s important we understand what your aims are.

The sitemap.

Following our research phase, we will then configure a site map. To put it basically, this will be the pages for your site, how they flow together and how they will appear to your potential customers.

Your customers will want to navigate themselves through your site easily. They will want to find relevant information quickly, be it information about a product / service you provide.

It’s important that your customers do not become frustrated with with your site. If a customer is not engaged with your site, there is a higher chance they will simply go to the websites of your competitors.

Once we agree a site map, we will then move onto the next stage…

Design and development.

Instead of trying to show you what we intend to build using a series of ‘mockups’, we’ll build an interactive prototype on a private server to show you how your website will work.

And then we’ll have a few more questions. We want to know how easy it was for you to navigate and how you found the overall experience, as if you are your own customer.

The aim is to show you the layout of your new site. We’ll add all the fine details later.

This way we ensure that we are all singing from the same hymn sheet.

At the end of this stage, we will add in technical SEO (tohelp your site rank well in Google) and we will also add in an analytics system.

Using the analytics system, you will be able to see how many people have visited your site, the pages they have looked at, how long they have been on those pages, where they are geographically, right down to if they looked at your site on a PC or on a mobile device.

And then it’s down to the next (exciting) stage…

The launch.

The fun begins during the design stage because we get to play with the colours, fonts and fine details to bring the prototype to life to match your brand identity.

Finally, after all the testing to make sure you’re happy with your new site, we deploy it to your hosting server so you can show it off in all its finest glory.

But it doesn’t end there. We will assist you in getting the site higher in Google search results and show you how to support the site via social media, Google Business Pages, LinkedIn, etc.

Aftercare

Just like when you take delivery of a new car, you need to do certain things to make sure it’s running correctly.

We offer a range of packages to help manage your site, from basic stuff like security and backups all the way through to full blown content management and SEO assistance.

Your site is an investment in your business, and looking after that investment will pay dividends.
